Spring 2025 opens Tuesday, February 11th at 10AM for members, and Thursday, February 13th at 10AM for non-members!
Beginner Chess Club (6-8 years)
This class is an introduction to the rules and general play of the game of chess. Participants will learn basics and fundamental strategies. Level dependent, they will have the chance to play games against other students. By the end of the semester, players will have the knowledge to fully enjoy the game of chess!

Dungeons and Dragons (8-12 years)
Ready to embark on a quest? Dungeons & Dragons has captured imaginations for fifty years, and it's more popular and accessible than ever! Bring your creativity and join the fun - we'll learn the ins and outs of the famous role-playing game while we tell a great story together! This class runs for 10 weeks and will include all elements of game play from character creation and beyond. Please read the notes at the bottom of this page carefully, and email jkelly@hillhouseboston.org if you have any questions before the season starts, or if you register less than a week before the program begins.

Intro to Dungeons and Dragons (7-11 years)
This class is recommended if your child is testing out their interest in the world of DND. It is not required to have taken this class to join the 12pm class. The Intro class will move at a slower pace and focus more on learning gameplay.

CANCELLED FOR SPRING 2025 Versus Class: Board Games (8-12 years)
This game combines elements of active board game play, game instruction, and exploration, and has a creative element to design your own game. Each class will include a lessons and active play of a different game, all in a fun learning environment hoping to build teamwork skills, learn new games, and have fun!
